Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 visits Geekbench again
Samsung is going Ultra with its Z Fold7 series, but we also know that a vanilla Fold7 is in the works. A pair of new Geekbench listings show out what is believed to be the global variant of the Z Fold7 (SM-F966B).
As these are pre-production devices, their scores vary. The first listing shows that Fold7 managed 1,916 single-core points and a 5,231 multi-core score. We can see that the device is armed with an eight-core chipset with a 3.36GHz prime core.

The second listing shows higher numbers with 2,896 and 9,226-point outings. Either way, the Fold7 will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite for Galaxy chipset paired with 12GB RAM. The phone is running Android 16 with One UI 8, which will make its debut on Samsung’s new crop of foldables.
This is not the first time we’re seeing the Z Fold7 on Geekbench, our first encounter came last month with the SM-F996N, which should be the Korean version of the device. Samsung is rumored to launch its Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 series in early July at a dedicated event held in New York.
